Bibles by the Truckload

Imagine trying to understand God’s word without ever being able to hold a Bible in your own hands. Or leading a Bible study group or evangelistic seminar with no Bibles for people to read. “A lack of Bibles makes sharing the Advent message in Sudan a real challenge,” says Delbert Pearman, planning director for Adventist Mission.

Arie Dien, the Adventist Mission director for the East Indonesia Union, has been part of something exciting among Chinese church members in Makassar, Sulawesi. He’s helped them become passionate about sharing Jesus with their Chinese community.

As he heard about the struggles and fears of the world’s most vulnerable people, his heart began to beat with excitement. Was God calling him to minister to refugees?
