When It’s Not Mission as Usual

Surprises happen every day all around the world. God opens doors, minds, and hearts. And suddenly exciting opportunities exist for mission that were impossible before.

On Sabbath, September 10, a special world mission offering will be taken during the church service. Called the “Unusual Opportunities” Offering, it will give us the ability to respond quickly as a church when and where God leads.

Recently, your “Unusual Opportunities” Offerings helped fund two exciting projects. In Sudan it helped purchase 6,000 Bibles for the local people in their own language—people who had never held God’s word in their own hands!

You’ve also helped Rustin and Stacy Sweeny heed God’s call to move into an economically-deprived housing community near downtown Atlanta, Georgia, to start an inner-city ministry.

Thanks for supporting the “Unusual Opportunities” Offering.
