Welcome to Taiwan, home to stunning terrain, the 101 Tower, and more than 23 million of the most friendly, hospitable, hardworking people you’ll ever meet. According to one study, Taiwanese on average work longer hours than anyone in the world. The result is a prosperous nation but the people are stressed and susceptible to disease. This fact, coupled with an ever-aging population, has created a need for excellent health care.
Taiwan Adventist Hospital is meeting this need and has won numerous awards for helping people reduce their risk of disease and experience vibrant health. In addition to outstanding medical care, the hospital provides the public with a NEWSTART center, vegetarian restaurant, fitness center, and a wide variety of health classes.
Please pray for the staff members of Taiwan Adventist Hospital and the NEWSTART center as they minister to the needs of the Taiwanese people.
